Tea for me and me for tea
Today has been quite momentous. Earlier on, I sent money to my British bank account and then at Home plus I found some Lipton International Blend tea … on a shelf … being sold … I don’t mean I just found it lying around.
It’s the first real tea I’ve had since I left Britain – actually, no, I had a cup at a fellow Brit’s apartment a few weeks ago. The pack cost 4,000 won and it contained 50 bags, making one bag worth about 4 and a half pence. I prefer Tetley, but this is perfectly reasonable tea. What more could I possibly need to make my extended sojourn in a foreign culture comfortable?
