vizard

The Vizard is another Insequent from Fatal Revenant.

SYLLABICATION: viz·ard

PRONUNCIATION: vĭzərd, -ärd

VARIANT FORMS: also vis·ard

NOUN: 1. A visor or mask. 2. A disguise.

ETYMOLOGY: Alteration of obsolete vizar, from Middle English viser. See visor.

And thus end my lexicon of Donaldsonian vocabulary from The Last Chronicles of Thomas Covenant. Until Against All Things Ending comes out in about 100 years, anyway. Plus, I have a bunch more obscure words to lexicograph.
